We participate in various events throughout the year! Some events help us to raise money that we, in turn, donate to worthy charities in our area, and other events directly help our community, like picking up all the trash along MD Route 2 from Rt. 258 north to the Lothian traffic circle! We also participate in local holiday parades to get our "word" out!
Our biggest fundraiser(s) are our Homestead Belly Buster Days. We set up a couple of big BBQ grills in the parking lot of Homestead Gardens , in Davidsonville MD, during their busy spring plant season. We sell grilled burgers and hotdogs to the customers and staff.
One of our funnest fundraisers is our Grand Spaghetti Dinner! In early March we set up at the Mt. Zion Church in Harwood Maryland, cook delicious and savory sauces all day, then open the doors from 3-7pm for dinner.
