Scholarships
This year the Lothian Ruritan Club is sponsoring
EIGHT
one year $1,000 scholarships, to be awarded to graduating high school seniors.
Applications must be received by March 12, 2012.
LOTHIAN RURITAN COMMUNITY SERVICE scholarships
are for one year, $1,000-per year. The scholarships are awarded to students that have demonstrated an interest in community service. Preference is given to students living in South County.

BERNARD & VICKIE LERCH SCHOLARSHIP I
- Term - 1 year $500.00 first semester, $500.00 second semester
- Description - For students at a 4-year college, community college, or trade school
- Grade Point - 2.5
BERNARD & VICKIE LERCH SCHOLARSHIP II
Term - 1 year $500.00 first semester, $500.00 second semester
- Description - For students at a 4-year college, community college, or trade school
- Grade Point - 2.5
ROCKY LANE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR NURSING OR HEALTH SCIENCES
Term - 1 year $500.00 first semester, $500.00 second semester
- Description - For students pursuing an education in nursing or a health related fields
- Grade Point - 2.5
JOHN K. DORR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
- Term - 1 year $500.00 first semester, $500.00 second semester
- Description - For students furthering their education at a 4-year college, community college or trade school with preference given to a member or a relative of a member of the Lothian Ruritan Club or involved in a Ruritan sponsored activity.
- Grade Point - 2.5
SKIPPERS PIER RESTAURANT SCHOLARSHIP
- Term - 1 year - $500.00 per semester, total $1,000.00.
- Description - For students in South County desiring to pursue a career in the culinary arts or vocational school.
- Grade Point - 2.5
FRANCIS R. & CLARA L. GOUIN SCHOLARSHIP
- Term - 1 year - $500.00 per semester, total $1,000.00
- Description - for students in horticulture, plant science or landscape architecture
- Grade Point - 2.5
ERIC THIEL SCHOLARSHIP
- Term - 1 year - $500.00 per semester, total $1,000.00
- Description - for students at a 4-year college, community college or trade school
- Grade Point - 2.5
